Every since we moved to San Diego from Chicago, my husband Rob has told us how amazing the Rose Bowl floats are and that you can view them up close the day after the parade. He used to go view them as a child and told us about all of the flowers and that it makes for a fun day out. We decided that this was the year to go! We had been working hard on the XplorStem products with Rob writing the software and me developing the curriculum and teaching tools. It was a very chilly morning but the floats lived up to Rob's memory. It is estimated that there are about 18 million flowers and 5000 gallons of glue on all of the floats together! It was truly amazing and a fun morning with the family!
